Our Own Festival!

Now this is exciting! A Balsam Range Festival!

We have wanted to do this for several years and now it’s becoming a reality. We are blessed to live in one of the prettiest spots in America. Now we can invite all of you to our home for a weekend of great music and more right here in Haywood County, North Carolina. We are proud to announce the first annual Balsam Range Art Of Music Festival!

The festival will be December 2nd and 3rd at the beautiful Lake Junaluska Assembly and Conference Center here in Haywood. The concerts will take place at Stuart Auditorium, an amazing indoor facility with an outdoor feel! There are hotels and restaurants on site, so weather will not be an issue. Stuart Auditorium is literally just a few feet from the main hotel.

We already have some of our favorite artists confirmed for the concerts!

On Friday we have Balsam Range, The Lonesome River Band, John Driskell Hopkins (from Zac Brown Band) and The Atlanta Pops Orchestra. Balsam Range will also be performing with the orchestra!

On Saturday we have Balsam Range and one our favorite bands of any genre, Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives! They can truly do it all! Great Country, Bluegrass, Gospel, and more.

There will be numerous workshops on Saturday, and there are great things to do all around us in Haywood County. Skiing, golf, the Blue Ridge Parkway, are just a few of the many attractions.

We are so thrilled to invite you to our home for this incredible gathering. Tickets are available now!! Just click on the festival link here on the website and get yours before they’re gone!

We wanted to see if you would be interested in a youth band (ages 11, 15, 18, 19 and 20) for your festival? The Back Creek Bluegrass Boys & Tori Jones are a great bluegrass band that has now completed two CD’s – we gave a copy of our first one to Marc Pruit last fall at WCU’s Mountain Heritage Day. We have followed Balsam Range for years and love how you are insuring traditional bluegrass music will be around for a long time to come. We feel the same and play traditional bluegrass and bluegrass gospel. It would be an honor to be a part of your first festival at the beautiful Lake Junaluska Assembly and Conference Center. We hope you will include youth bands, and we really hope to be one to play for you guys. We share a love of Christ and always give the glory of the talents given to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at every performance we do. You can find video’s of our band on YouTube under Back Creek Bluegrass Boys. Hope to see y’all in December and have a blessed day!

We are taking my husband for a surprise trip to the festival. It’s his 50th birthday! I’ve been trying to find out what time the festival starts, but can’t seem to find actual times.
