Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Posted on: December 23rd, 2013 by Tim Surrett

We want to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This has been a truly great year for Balsam Range. When we started this band, we made a kind of bucket list of things we would like to do. This year, many of those things came to pass.

We played the Grand Ol Opry with our pal John Driskell Hopkins, the Ryman Auditorium on July 4th, and too many others to name.

Then to top it off, winning Album of The Year at IBMA.

Thank you to all the promoters who booked us this year, and have us booked for 2014.

Thank you to all the radio folks for playing our music around the world.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who spent your hard earned money to see us play or to buy our music this year. It was an honor to play for you. We hope the songs meant something to you.

God bless you all this Holiday Season. We will see you in 2014!

I heard you play Friday night at the WBGV at LaTourelle in Ithaca, and again at the State Theatre on Saturday. Your music is truly incredible, what a fantastic gift! I still have Blue Mountain playing over and over again in my head. Some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard, thank you for coming to Ithaca!
