Mighty…and fine! And we’ll see you there friends!
Burnsville show was nothing short of spectacular. It was great to see you again. Marc, Buddy and Darren- you WCU enthusiasts– have you thought about coming up with a song about the Cullowhee Lily? The WCU Alum Board and Chancellor’s wife, Susan Belcher, are currently working on bringing the almost extinct lily back to the campus… the valley of the lilies..
Thanks Myra!! That was a great time.
I’ve seen everyone from Clapton to Coldplay, Hootie and the Blowfish to Harry Connick, Jr….. After seeing the finale at the December 1st show in Canton with Shawn Camp, I would say that I may never have seen a more talented group of musicians grace a single stage – absolutely fantastic!!
Proud to be able to say to my musically inclined friends “yeah, those guys are from my hometown”
Thanks Blake
“Ruby” is a given on the live album, right? Sure hope so.
The Burnsville show was awesome! We weren’t sure what to expect from JDH, but we really enjoyed him. My cousin and her husband, who had never heard y’all, came and had a great time. And my sister-in-law was tickled to death with her birthday “toe-boggin” from Tim!
Great time in Burnsville!!
Can’t wait for the Altamont – it’ll be like you’re in our living room!
I heard a number on “Song of the Mountains” a few weeks ago – “Jesus is My Rock, My Name is On the Roll” (Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road). In my head I could totally hear what your version of it might sound like – and I loved it! I know its too late for the Altamont unless you ALREADY have done it, but just an idea for the future!
See ya next Friday!
Yes Sue! The Altamont is like a living room setting. Always welcome your input.
