Greetings from New Jersey!
It was wonderful to hear and see y’all once again for the January concert at the Colonial Theater, a really fine venue, and an excellent concert. As Sheila says, “You just get better and better.”
In our family, Rufus is always passing along sayings:
“If you’re not with someone, you’re usually by yourself.”
“If you’re not here, you’re usually there.”
While out on errands this morning, I saw this saying on one of those in-front-of-the-school signs and immediately thought of Balsam Range:
“If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll usually end up somewhere else.”
Keep on making music!
Can’t get enough of it!
Peace,
Martha
Thanks Martha!! Love the Dales!! Thanks for all the kind words and coming to see us. Please check our schedule for we are traveling a lot more and hopefully will be in you area soon!
Hey guys:
Noted by its absence in your list of “away” dates and in your Concert Schedule page is the March 8/9 “Top of Georgia” Bluegrass Festival. Are you not repeating your “house band” gig? I’ve already bought tickets for it, based on your billing in their flier. Two of my most unforgettable experiences are the impromptu prayer service for Buddy last winter, and Buddy’s mother’s testimony last fall at “Top of Georgia.”
Hey Gerry. Thanks for the note and watching our page. It is with a heavy heart that we just hear the show has been cancelled. We love Top of Ga and the folks who put it on. And we hope this will be a chance to focus on their fall festival becasue it is one of the greats and we’d love to see those folks and the festival to succeed.
